In this section we will introduce you how to create the shiny water surface texture.
The reflected lights are very beautiful and the water looks refreshing. The beautiful lighted up texture can be created in 5 minutes. Once you know how, it will not even take 5 minutes.
Fill the canvas with filter cloud pattern 1.
Set the generate color: black, background color: white. Apply [Filter > Generate > Cloud Pattern 1].
Cloud Pattern 1 is applied and monochrome chrome pattern in generated.
For the smooth water surface, set the setting using the example above with chrome [Filter > Sketch > Chrome].
Chrome is applied and now it looks very different from the original. It has the wavering water texture.
This is still black and white so we apply more water like color. Create new saturation/hue layer and set the numerals. Make sure to check unionize color.

With the blue color, the texture looks much more like water. You can already use it as a water surface texture but we will add one more twist.
Double click the water surface layer, remove the lock and reduce the display. In order to create perspective, drag the handle in the bottom corner to expand the front surface [Edit > Transform > Perspective].
Now the front part of the surface is expanded and perspective is created. You can already use it as water surface texture but we will add some more twists.
Copy the water surface layer and move it to the top and set [Generate Mode: Linear Light] [Opacity: 70] [Fill: 20%].
Now you have reflected water texture.
The lighted up water surface is waving and beautiful. It was very quick to make.
The important part is the [Generate Mode] layer settings. We used <Linear Light> this time. You can also make different effects using other [Generate Mode]. Try explore more effects.
