In this section we will introduce you how to create acrylic like marble patterns. It is realistic and it looks as if we dropped paints in water.
It would be tiresome to actually create marble pattern as you need to prepare all the equipment. In Illustrator, you can create one easily with [Gurge Tool] and even better, you can redo it as many times as you want.
Create and arrange circles randomly with [Eclipse Tool]. Overlap circles and put smaller circles in the bigger ones to make a nice marble pattern.
Double click Gurge Tool and set the setting as shown above.
The objects within the Gurge Tool brush selection swirls. Drag on the objects as shown above.
It transforms when clicking the mouse. Drag and do not release your finger until you reach the end.
The top part swirls nicely. If you do not like it, you can redo by pressing (Ctrl + Z).
This time I dragged from the left side. Repeat this action.
Do not just draw circles. It can create interesting patterns when dragged zigzag.
This time swirl the mouse. Adding different moves would create fun shapes. Outline it at the end.
Done! It really looks like as if the paints are dropped in the water.
It might take time to get used to the [Gurge Tool], but once you know how you can create various expressions.
Use it for backgrounds, postcards, text, web designs and various other purposes.
