In this section we will introduce you how to create the speedy background image in Photoshop. This is a so-called abstract background/art. This time we will create the illustration of light which radiates outward high-speed in Photoshop.
Photoshop is ideal software for this kind of designs. We will create it by overlapping multiple layers.
Make sure the generate/background color is in default and apply [Filter > Generate > Cloud Pattern 1].
Next, click [Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint]. Apply [Standard Dot] in the dialog box.
For your information, Mezzotint is a filter which shapes random dots and lines on an image.
Next, apply [Filter > Blur > Blur (Radial)].
[Blur (Radial)] dialog pops up. Apply the setting above.
The radial background is created!
Smoothen the lines as they are rough. Click [Ctrl + F] twice and apply Blur (radial) twice.
The lines are smoothened after applying Blur (radial) repeatedly.
In order to emphasize the lines, apply [Filter > Sharp > Sharp (Strong)].
Next, apply colors on the black and white radial lines.
Click [Layer > New Fill Layer > Fill] and select a color to fill.In the example, I chose #00a0e0 (light blue).
Open the layer panel (Window > Layer) and change the [Fill 1] layer generate mode to [Soft-Light].(Retaled Articles:Know the Basic of Photoshop Layer)
The fill blue blended in with the black and white lines.
Lastly, adjust the brightness and contrast with Tone Curve (Window > Color Correction > Tone Curve).
The light sharpened by raising the brightness and contrast. It looks speedier now.
