How to get rid of unwanted parts of a photo in Photoshop
In this section you will learn how to remove unwanted aspects in a photo.

Sometimes you get unwanted objects, stains on the lens, or dust. This can ruin a great picture.

Even if the unwanted parts are small, it can give a much better impression by getting rid of them. It will make a better photo. It seems a little tricky but you can do it very easily using copy stamp.

Step01 The part to be removed

There is a black roof on the left-top of the photo. We will remove this part.

Step02 Setting up a copy stamp

Firstly, create a new layer

Select “copy stamp” and check on “with adjustment” in the option bar. Select “all layers” from the sample and select a brush in the option bar, then select the size.

The size this time is 20px but change sizes in accordance of a photo.

Step03 Remove with copy stamp

Enlarge the image

Create a copy of the part you would like to remove (Alt + Click) and drag on the black roof like shown above. Try copy as close as you can to prevent gaps.

Do not drag at once, copy every time along with the unwanted part. You only need to duplicate this.

You successfully removed the hindering roof and now you have a beautiful sunset picture.

With copy stamp, the place you click (Alt + Click) becomes the originated part and you will copy it by dragging.

Some pictures might be difficult to edit. Try to do it slowly and avoid gaps by enlarging and minimizing the picture.
