In this section you will learn how to modify text in Photoshop (1).
There are various ways to modify text in Photoshop, this time we will be using [arc text] in [warp text] to create curved text.
If you are a beginner, you can also refer to the section Inserting texts and basic operations in Photoshop for further details on basic text insertion.
Firstly, insert text using the [horizontal text tool].
Type any desired text.
We edit the inserted text.
Click the text layer [T] in [Layer Panel] (Window -> Layer).

Now the text is displayed reversed. Set the size and color of the text in [Text Panel] (Window -> Text). (Set them in accordance to your preference.)
In the text panel, you can set the preference of the text in detail, for instance, font, thickness, size, indent, horizontal/vertical proportion and such.
We start modifying the text in this step. This time, we introduce how to modify text using the [warp text].
Click [Layer -> Text -> Warp Text]
When the [warp text] dialog box is displayed set the preference arc, horizontal, curve: +25% as shown above.
[Arc] is applied to the text and it is now curved.
You can find many more features in [warp text] other than [arc]. You can modify text in various ways and different styles. Be creative and explore.
